In this study of Jeremiah, we cover chapters 39 to 52.  We take a look at how God’s people were judged for their sins.  This story shows how fear leads to rebellion, as God’s people returned to the very land they were set free from, Egypt. In the bible, Egypt is a picture of the worldly system, the opposite of walking in the spirit (of truth).  The very thing God’s people feared, is what God used to judge them.  As followers of Christ, we can learn from this story.  Trusting in the Lord, is how fear is overcome, even in what seems to be a broken world.
